The Academy has two museums on separate topics: one - medicine and science, and the other - arts, culture and orientalism.
The Karam Hussein Museum of the History of Medicine and Science is an academic department with collections and exhibitions. The main theme is the history of health and disease in a cultural perspective, with an emphasis on the material and iconographic culture of medieval medicine and science. The museum categorically houses photographs and busts of physicians belonging to Mesopotamia, Babylon, Egypt, Greeks, Arab and Indian civilizations. In addition, medical manuscripts, catalogs, medical philately, medical souvenirs, memoirs of doctors, including Nobel laureates, etc. are preserved and exhibited.
