Sehzadeler Museum
Amasya Şehzadeler Museum is one of 67 registered mansions, which were built in the 1800s and demolished by the owner in 1986, called Yalıboyu houses. The building, which was built in 2007 by the Amasya Governorate, was opened to visitors in 2008 as the Special Provincial Administration Museum. Museum; It is located on the left side of the Low Bridge, at the entrance of Hatuniye Mahallesi, on the Yeşilırmak River, on the Old Walls and consists of a two-storey wooden building.
Wax sculptures of the princes, who worked as governor in Amasya but did not have the opportunity to become a sultan, were exhibited on the lower floor, and wax statues of sultans (Sultan) in the Ottoman State (Şehzade). In the interior design of the museum, the effective art elements of a period of 150 years that the sultans lived lived were included. The handwritten patterns on the plaster dominating the museum, tile panels adorning the walls, ceiling cores, calligraphy, illumination, miniatures and marbres reflect the 14th, 15th and 16th century art understanding.
