Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum
Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum - This museum offers information on the history, culture and architecture of the Sikhs in the 18th-19th centuries. The palace was turned into a museum in 1977. The museum keeps many relics from the court of the Maharaja. These include paintings, miniatures, coins, weapons and armor. Next to the museum is a panorama of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, which is a permanent visual documentation of the life of the Maharaja. The panorama is housed in a two-story circular building, which boasts magnificent paintings depicting its six major battles. You can also find life-size paintings and dioramas (three-dimensional scenes) from the early life of the Maharaja.
