ANFASEP Museum of Memory
Between 2004 and 2005, ANFASEP has built the Memory Museum "So that it does not repeat itself."
The construction was carried out with the support of institutions of the German Cooperation, such as the ZFD, DED, GTZ and the German Embassy and national institutions, including the Ministry of Projects, the National Coordinator of Human Rights and the Ministry of Women and Social Development.
The Memory Museum is located on the third floor of the ANFASEP Association premises and consists of three rooms:
The first room shows the consolidated history of the affectation of Ayacucho, garments of the disappeared, the "symbols of incidence" of ANFASEP, testimonies, newspaper clippings, works of art, publications of ANFASEP. The second room recreates the "torture room" and the exhumation process, which are accompanied by the broadcast of a video. In the third room, the photos of the members and youth of the association are exhibited, together with the "ANFASEP historical line".
