Avetik Isahakyan House-Museum
The house museum of the Armenian great poet Avetik Isahakian is on the nice-looking and peaceful Zarobian street parallel to Baghramian Avenue.
The exposition of the museum is presented to the visitors through the Memorial part and Permanent exposition that present the life and the literary heritage of the poet. The memorial part covers the poet’s study, bedroom, sitting room as well as the lovely garden on the first floor.
The most sacred part of the museum is the poet’s study. Here one can see Isahakian’s rich library, the old-fashion desk, sofa, personal belongings such as his pen, eyeglasses, rosary, the statuette “The Girl and the Deer”, stones from the island of Sevan. In the literary part of the exposition the poet’s handwritings, publications of various years, photos, personal belongings and important documents are demonstrated.
