Historical Museum of Balchik

Historical Museum of Balchik in 2007 noted the seventieth anniversary of its establishment. Its basis is made finds made by archaeologists at the beginning of the XX century, it was the product of ceramics, bronze objects, statues and other property. In 1937 found items have been combined in the exhibition, opened its doors to visitors. Thanks to the zeal and enthusiasm of the local people the museum's collection replenished quickly, and although during the Second World War, the museum lost a large part of the exhibits, the number assigned to it subsequently finds even exceeded the pre-war level.
