Shengxifu Hat Heritage Museum

Located at Qianmen Street, Shengxifu Hat Heritage Museum adopts the courtyard style of old Beijing, with many traditional elements in the unique designs and original structures, witnessing the history of the time-honored Shengxifu’s establishment, inheritance and development from 1911 till now, as well as its inheritance and development of the unique and exquisite Chinese hat-making skills and techniques, embodying the Chinese hat culture in Modern China.

Financed by the Hat Industry Committee of China Commerce Association for General Merchandise, the Museum introduces the evolvement of Chinese hat, including its origin, formation, development and booming started from the discovery of “Guguan (Bone Crest)” unearthed in the Tongliao City 4600 years ago, followed by many historical representative caps.
