Museum collections contain over 160 thousand items of nature, history and culture of the Amur region. The largest museum collections are: numismatic (coins) - more than 8000 museum objects, archaeological - about 9000, natural science - more than 8000, ethnographic - about 4000. Photofund has more than 15000 storage units, documentary fund - more than 30,000, books - more than 20,000. Many of the museum's objects are unique: the costumes and attributes of the Dahurian and Evenki shamans (late XIX century), the music box (Germany, XIX century), Ust-Nyukzhinsky meteorite ( XX century), bones of fossil animals, etc.
