Regional History Museum of the city of Kurgan-Tube

The museum has about three thousand exhibits, almost half of them exhibited at the permanent exhibition. Now the collection is actively replenished by gifts areas that come to the museum after various festivities and special events taking place in the city of Kurgan-Tube. Exposition of the museum includes the following sections: Geography and nature of the Vakhsh valley. Ancient history and archeology of the Vakhsh valley. The medieval city. Traditional culture of Tajiks. The establishment of Soviet power and the fight against Basmachi, the collective construction. Irrigation Vakhsh valley and the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the irrigation of the Vakhsh valley. The Soviet period in the history of Tajikistan, and the development of industry, culture, education and medicine. Independent Tajikistan.
