The Bratsk United City Museum of History of development of «Angara»

The united museum includes four branches and one department: architecture and ethnographic museum "Angarsk Village"; art exhibition hall; museum of the history of political exile; museum of the history of development of Bratsk hydro-electric station and the city of Bratsk; the department of funds with the scientific library. The main directions of museum work: research work on history, ethnography, art history, the organization of exhibits and exhibitions from the museum's funds, collecting and scientific description of museum objects, the development and organization of excursions on exhibitions, organization creative evenings, meetings. The main objectives of the Bratsk united museum are the preservation and popularization of historical, cultural and artistic heritage, monuments of wooden architecture, the promotion of knowledge on history and culture.
