The Museum-Park of Tolstoy A.K.
The park-museum named after Tolstoty A.K. is one of the oldest parks in the city of Bryansk. It is located in the historic center of the city. It was named after the famous Russian writer and playwright Alexei Konstantinovich Tolstoy. Due to the unique collection of wooden sculptures, it is not only a place of rest, but also one of the most important city attractions; actively visited by locals and guests of the city. Currently, the exposition of the park has about 35 wooden sculptures. The most remarkable sculptures are: "Bryansk Madonna" (authors - V. Mikhailov and I. Zhdanov, 1966, oak); "Desnyanka" and "Emelya" (the authors of both sculptures - V. Orlov and V. Kheruvimov, 1976, oak); "Prince Roman Bryansky" (author - V. Orlov, 1978, oak).
