In 1998, Bucheon Folk Historical Records Hall opened in the underground floor of Wonmi Library building with copied versions of 50 Gogang-dong prehistoric relics and 24 Princess Hwayu relics that were discovered in Bucheon. Then, in 2000, a building was constructed inside Dodang Neighborhood Park and Bucheon Folk History Museum opened, featuring 2 exhibit halls. The museum was reopened on June 20th, 2017 after being transferred to the premises of Bucheon Pottery Museum due to aging of the facility and complaints from local residents. Under four themes of Prehistory of Bucheon, History of Bucheon, Changes of Bucheon, and Growth of Bucheon, it displays relics related to Bucheon such as Gogang-dong prehistoric relics and Princess Hwayu relics.
