The Ottoman Empire (1299-1922) was a great empire that ruled over 20,000,000 square kilometers of land for 623 years and 72 nations on 3 continents and shaped the history of humanity in art, science and astronomy.
Esat Uluumay, who has seven generations of Bursa, created his specialty collection that tells about the last 350 years of the empire with the Ottoman folk costumes and crafts he collected for 60 years. This specialized collection, which is the first and only in its subject, is exhibited in Bursa Muradiye in the madrasah built by the important nature and love poet Ahmet Pasha, one of the viziers of Fatih Sultan Mehmet, in 1495.
