Cultural Museum of Religious Art of Mompox
The Mompox Museum of Religious Art was created within the Academy of History. Its purpose is to be the depository of beautiful religious jewelry with 160 pieces that were guarded by distinguished families of Mompox, an admirable religious exhibition for visitors who enjoy this unique artistic exhibition. Among its objects, the following stand out: Lignum Crucis, a work from the 16th century in silver and a gold monstrance studded with precious stones from the 18th century.
