The National Museum of the Republic of Kalmykia of N.N. Palmov

At present, there are 7 stationary exhibitions in the halls of the museum, where the history, ethnography, culture of the Kalmyk people, objects of Buddhist worship and old Kalmyk art, as well as contemporary fine art of Kalmykia are presented in detail. Among the collections of the National Museum, a unique place is occupied by unique collections of Russian art of the XIX century, Japanese and Chinese decorative and applied arts.
