Ethnographic Museum «Skansen» in Szentendre

Skanzen is the largest open-air museum in Hungary, located 20 km from Budapest, in the Pilis Mountains, in a picturesque natural area of 60 hectares. The aim of the foundation of the Szentendre Open-Air Ethnographic Museum is to showcase the folk architecture, housing culture, farming and lifestyle of the Hungarian language area with original relocated buildings, authentic objects, old settlement forms from the mid-18th to the first half of the 20th century.
