A Room of One's Own

Yerevan hosted the opening of the exhibition A Room of One's Own, which focuses on the creative path of Armenian artists and the features of women's art in Armenia, says move2armenia.am. The exposition is represented by works in various styles, many of the works are made of materials that are brutal and difficult to process, such as metal and mosaic. Most of the works were created specifically for the exhibition and are exhibited for the first time.

Sona Minasyan, curator of the Art Kvartal gallery, notes that behind each work of the exhibition there is a huge physical labor, which emphasizes the incredible female power of the artists. The exhibition will also include curatorial tours and the performance “Are you a woman?”.

The exhibition will run until March 26, 2023.
