Folk Museum with. Terehovo
The Museum of History in the village of Terekhove was opened on December 5, 1987. The museum is dedicated to the history of the village and contains an exposition dedicated to the English writer Joseph Conrad, who according to one version was born in the village of Terekhove.
Today the district People's Museum. Joseph Conrad contains more than 2 thousand exhibits, the number of which increases every year. In the rooms of the museum the exposition tells about the history of the native land from ancient times and to this day, there are many objects of the Neolithic era, Trypillia and Chernyakhiv cultures. The three-dimensional section of the museum is dedicated to the Second World War. There is a lot of material about the former local state farm named after Kotovsky, because it was one of the best farms in Berdychiv district.
