Galleria l'Affiche
Founded in 1980, since 1990 it has defined itself as a gallery that would like to update its contemporaneity year after year, moving at the margins of that formality and homogeneity sometimes typical of the sector. It has always favoured emerging authors, curating the first exhibitions of authors such as Guido Scarabottolo (1991), Gianluigi Toccafondo (1991), Spider (1991), Francesco Bocchini (1998), Francesco Santosuosso (1998), Simone Pellegrini (2002), and Paolo Picozza (2003). He has participated in numerous fairs over the years, including Arte Fiera Bologna, MiArt Milano, ArtVerona, MIA Fair Milano, Photo Basel, WopArt Fair, Lugano.
At its headquarters in Via dell'Unione 6, it follows with solo exhibitions the path of authors presented in a more confidential manner at its other premises in Via Nirone 11, which, on the other hand, remains always open and capable of proposing the overall work of this reality (in Via Nirone you can find... everything, in a form that is certainly a bit chaotic, but rich in suggestions, even unexpected ones, and on very different price ranges: the authors are young and unknown, or have an 'important' curriculum).
The gallery is small, often functioning as a laboratory, and the exhibitions are projects or installations for even larger public realities. Sometimes it presents themed events, linked to the collaboration with the Associazione 5Vie, with Bookcity, with the Fuorisalone...
