Gimhae National Museum
The Gimhae National Museum was opened on July 29, 1998, on the hillside of Gujibong Hill, which is the center of the golden mythology of Gaya. This is an archaeological museum focused on preserving and exhibiting the history and culture of Gaya.
The National Gimhae National Museum is striving to establish Kaya Bar by reinforcing the function of the core center of Gaya research, realizing a museum with a vibrant history and culture, and pursuing various projects to establish a facility base as a complex cultural space.
The permanent exhibition hall consists of two floors and is a space where you can learn and experience the value of Gaya history and culture with the theme of Gaya and Gaya people, from prehistoric culture at the lower Nakdong River Station. Along with the permanent exhibitions, we hold large and small special exhibitions with various themes. We also run various exhibition guide programs, children's museums and various educational programs to help visitors understand.
