The Gorodets Art-Historical Complex
The complex includes the following structural units: -The art gallery "Rural Tretyakovka" was opened in 2003 in the hall of the House of Culture in the village of K.A. Timiryazev. The basis of the collection consists of paintings donated to the collective farm of I.A. Yemelyanov in the 1950-1980s; - "The Children's Museum on Kupecheskeya" was created in 2004 on the basis of the Children's Museum Center, located in the house of merchant F.P. Rukavishnikov ; - "The House of Countess Panina" Museum was opened in 2005 in the main house of the Panins estate (a monument of architecture of federal significance - a sample of the architecture of the wooden empire); - "The Gorodetsky Gingerbread" Museum was opened for visitors in 2008 in the house of the merchant S.F. Tryapkin; - The Museum of Merchant Malekhonov's Manor was created in 2010. The museum is locarted in a merchant's mansion (a cultural heritage of regional significance, a sample of late eclecticism).
