HOUSE-MUSEUM OF AVETIK ISAHAKYAN
Avetik Isahakyan was a prominent Armenian lyric poet, writer and public activist. The poet’s works have been translated in many languages and his poems have been used as lyrics for new songs. The house of Avetik Isahakyan was built by the poet’s father in 1829. In October 2002 the house museum was reconstructed and was reopened. The house museum is furnished just as it looked the way when Isahakyan lived there. The relics of the writer found their place in the halls of the museum and tell the story of his artistic journey.
