Artillery Museum of Finland, located in the Finnish town of Hämeenlinna, is a private military and historical museum. The museum was founded in 1977 in Niinisalo village, near the artillery garrison was located an abandoned elementary school building. In 1995, due to the small number of visitors, it was decided to move the museum to a more prominent place, and with the help of volunteers in the town of Hämeenlinna has been renovated an old barracks, where the May 12, 1997 was opened Artillery Museum, which since May 2013 is called the "Museum Militaria ". The main exhibition is located in a three-storey building of the museum. The first floor is devoted to the history of the country's artillery during the period from the XV century to the Civil War in Finland. It is also the Hall of Fame Fatherland.
