Didrichsen Art Museum was built in 1926 on the money of the Danish businessman Gunnar Didrihsena and is located in Finland. Over time, the villa Didrihsena was enough not only for the exhibits, but also to store them, and so it was built one more room. This museum has become a repository for a very large number of paintings and sculptures, known the world over. Here are stored the works of such renowned artists and sculptors like Picasso, Léger, Hiltunen and others. A special feature of the museum Didrihsena is that it keeps the Olmec and Mayan sculptures, which have been in America before its discovery by Columbus. These sculptures are unique exhibits, such can not boast of any museum in Finland.
