Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum
The Hiroshima Memorial Museum of Peace is located in the Hiroshima Memorial Peace Park in downtown Hiroshima, Japan. Founded in August 1955 together with the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Hall (now the Hiroshima International Conference Center), the museum exhibits the facts of atomic bombing to help eliminate nuclear weapons around the world and achieve world peace. The main building was designed by architect Tange Kenzo.
