Museum-Preserve IK Tobilevich «Hope Farm»
Hope Farm - it is a state museum-reserve Ivan Tobilevich, Ukrainian writer, who took the pseudonym Karpenko Kary. In 1871, the father Karpenko Kary, Konstantin Tobilevich, bought a house on the farm, which is located on the banks of Sugokley River, near the village of Nikolaevka, 20 km from Kropivnitskogo, a park, planted a beautiful garden and called the name of the farm wife Hope Tarkovsky. In 1887, after three years of back links here Ivan Karpenko-Kary, who turned the estate into a creative oasis in the Ukrainian heartland. There were rehearsals of the first Ukrainian troupe under the direction of Kropivnitskogo, there were many leading figures of the Ukrainian theater, and the Karpenko-Kary wrote his best works. At the farm preserved family home, the park and pond, outbuildings and an old well.
