Museum Katedral
The construction of the Cathedral museum was initiated by the head of the Cathedral at the time, Father Rudolf Kurris. This began with Kurris' love for history and historical objects. According to him, historical objects can awaken human admiration for the past and their desire to channel knowledge from generation to generation.
The Cathedral Museum now occupies the old rectory building, which is north of the Church Building. The new museum was inaugurated on November 14, 2018 by Mgr. Ignatius Suharyo has thematic spaces that help visitors enjoy each item on display.
