National Museum
The existence of the Indonesian National Museum began with the establishment of a group named Bataviaasch Genootschap van Kunsten en Wetenschappen, founded by the Dutch Government on April 24, 1778. Bataviaasch Genootschap van Kunsten en Wetenschappen (BG) was an independent institution established for the purpose of advancing research in the arts and especially in the fields of biology, physics, archeology, literature, ethnology and history, Berta published research hashes. This institution has the motto "Ten Nutte van het Algemeen" (For the benefit of the general public).
