Jewish Museum Of Switzerland

The Jewish Museum of Switzerland is open for everyone. It tells the cultural history of the Jews in the area of today’s Switzerland and of Judaism as a religion via topics of universal concern: migration, family, community and faith. It opened in 1966 as the first Jewish Museum in German-speaking Europe after World War II. The founding director Dr. Katia Guth-Dreyfus, who shaped the museum for more than four decades. She was succeeded by Dr. Gaby Knoch-Mund in 2010 and by Dr. Naomi Lubrich, the current director, in 2015.
