The FÉNIX AERIAL MUSEUM is a private non-profit foundation, located in the municipality of Palmira, adjacent to the Palmaseca Free Zone. It is entrance No. 9 of the Alfonso Bonilla Aragón Airport that serves the city of Santiago de Cali, Colombia.
The museum facilities house a collection of airplanes, jet engines and flight suits dating from before the Second World War to the present day. Most of the aircraft, including a Douglas C-47B, a Beechcraft C-45, a North American AT-6D and a Stearman PT-17, are operational and communicate with the runway from the showroom. . Added to this is a magnificent and growing display of scale models represented in highly detailed dioramas. This is a characteristic that, due to its level of realism, is hardly found in other similar institutions in the world.
