D. T. Suzuki Museum
The DT Suzuki Museum was opened in 2011 to commemorate the life and work of Suzuki Daisetza Teitaro (1870-1966), an important Japanese Zen philosopher born in Kanazawa. The museum is not only a place to get acquainted with the life and thinking of Suzuki, but its structure embodies the ideas of Zen in practice, and there is a special area where visitors can sit and meditate.
