Kirkland Fine Arts Center
Since opening in 1969, the Kirkland Fine Arts Center has played an integral role in promoting the arts in Central Illinois. Kirkland is home to a 1,903-seat auditorium and houses several music and choral facilities, lecture halls, art galleries, and studio spaces for students in the Art Department. Well-used by Millikin's School of Music and the Department of Theatre & Dance, Kirkland's stage has hosted nationally-acclaimed musical tours such as Rent, 42nd Street, Grease, Evita, and Cats. World-renowned entertainers Trace Adkins, Duke Ellington, Ray Charles, Little Richard, and Vicki Lawrence have performed here, too.
