The Konosha Regional Museum of Local Lore
The Konoshsky Regional Local Lore Museum, one of the youngest museums in the Arkhangelsk Region. The museum was founded with the help of local inhabitants, donated carefully kept family relics. Currently, the museum halls are located in three buildings, two of which are in the village of Konosha, the third in the village of Norinskaya, Konoshsky District of the Arkhangelsk Region, and the museum funds have about 3000 exhibits. One of the most numerous collection is the collection of items of peasant life: clothes, cast iron, different kinds of storage boxes, milk mats, pottery and copper cookware. The museum has a lot of spinning wheels. There is a small collection of samovars of the late XIX - early XX century, varying in shape and volume, there are samovars by the Tula masters of the well-known manufactiries of the Botashevs, Shemarins. A large amount of museum fund is presented by historical documents and photographs, among which there are unique letters, certificates, photographs from the end of the 19th century.
