The museum exposition introduces the history of the region from ancient times to the end of the twentieth century. Ethnographic material reflects the life of different peoples - the Tatars, including baptized, Udmurts, Russians and Mari. The interior of the hut of the Tatar peasant of the late XIX - early XX centuries was recreated. In the "Great Patriotic War" section, there are fragments of weapons and equipment of Soviet and German soldiers brought from the "Death Valley" and from the "Nevsky Pyatachok". Portraits, copies of award sheets of five Heroes of the Soviet Union, natives of the region, and 25 volumes of the "Book of Memory" of the Republic of Tatarstan are presented.
