Museum Lenin - Lenin's first museum created outside the Soviet Union, and now the only outside Russia, a permanent museum dedicated to the life and activities of the leader of the revolution, and the era of socialism. This museum was founded January 20, 1946 on the anniversary of Lenin's death (January 21). Proposal for the establishment of the museum was made as early as 1920, shortly after the country gained independence. After the collapse of the USSR and the closure of the Central Lenin Museum in Moscow (1993) in Tampere museum was the only Lenin museum in the world, which is open all the time. In 1993, the museum was visited by the smallest number of tourists, but later resumed growth in the number of visitors. In many ways, the revival of interest in the museum influenced by the news agency Reuters that Lenin's body will supposedly transferred to this institution.
