Han Dynasty Cliff Tombs Museum

The Jiangkou Han Dynasty Cliff Tombs Museum (Jiangkou Han Yamu Bowuguan) is a great place for those interested in the ancient history of the Chengdu Plain and those who want to get off the beaten path. It is located in Jiangkou Village, just 3 kilometers from Pengshan City. The museum has a collection of Han Dynasty tomb artifacts, and miscellaneous pieces from other dynasties. Most interesting are the cliff tombs themselves, two of which visitors can enter. These tombs, carved out of the cliffs along the Min River, are a unique feature of Han-era Sichuan history.
