National Museum of Archeology, Anthropology and History
The National Museum of Archeology, Anthropology and History of Peru (MNAAHP) is the oldest in our country and the most representative for its varied and vast cultural heritage, part of which can be seen in our gallery rooms, making the museum a place of encounter with the history of Peru.
Ceramics, textiles, metals, organic material and lithics linked to preserved human remains with techniques that still surprise specialists make up the legacy of our pre-Hispanic past.
In addition, it houses objects of historical-artistic value and documents, photographs and prints from the colonial and republican periods.
The museum has two important commitments: to strengthen the national identity and make the richness of our culture known to the world through research, conservation and dissemination of the protected heritage.
