Lubeznik Center for the Arts
In 1975, John G. Blank purchased a vacant library building to provide a home for Michigan City’s new Center for the Arts. In 1978, this building officially became the John G. Blank Art Center, which was incorporated as a not-for-profit organization. Today, LCA serves as a vibrant showcase for exhibitions and a vital hub for the community. The Gallery features three major exhibitions per year with corresponding educational programming, as well as a wide variety of classes for children and adults. Approximately 1.800 children annually enjoy educational tours and onsite artmaking at LCA.
