The Exhibition Hall «The House of Chekhov»
AP Chekhov used to live in that small two-story outbuilding on the right side of the merchant V.K. Firgang’s possession on Malaya Dmitrovka after returning from Sakhalin in 1890 until 1892 when he left to Melikhovo. The outbuilding has preserved well to our time and was marked with a memorial plaque. Currently, the building is a filial branch of "Manege" and is called "Chekhov's house", is used for exhibitions and cultural events.
