The Sakharovskiy Center

Sakharov Center is a multifunctional public and educational platform where current cultural and social problems that remain outside the informational mainstream are discussed in various formats. Discussions, debates, public lectures, seminars, film screenings and memorial evenings are organized in the center. Permanent museum exhibition is devoted to the history of freedom and lack of freedom in the USSR (mythology and ideology, GULAG and political repression, dissident movement and dissent), as well as the personality and fate of Academician Sakharov.
