The State Museum of GULAG′s History

The museum of history of the GULAG is dedicated to a painful events that are difficult to comprehend. The mission of the Museum is the preservation of historical memory of , the comprehension of the past related to the forced-labor camp-system. The museum is supposed to become a public space for public presentation, study and updating of the problems of the mass repression's history, forced labor and political lack of freedom in the USSR.
