Museo de Historia Natural «Dr. Torres de la llosa»

The Carlos A. Torres de la Llosa Natural History Museum is located at Eduardo Acevedo 142, Montevideo, Uruguay. Founded January 22, 1911.

It is in the same building, considered National Heritage, where the Alfredo Vázquez Acevedo Institute (IAVA), the Secondary Education Library, and the Astronomical Observatory are also located.

It has a classic and complete collection that includes the systematic and evolutionary aspects of species, from the simplest to the most complex.
