Museo del Futbol
This museum is located in the CENTENARY STADIUM (declared by the International Federation of Associated Soccer, Historical Monument of World Soccer).
It was inaugurated on December 15, 1975, then closed its doors to the public and reopened in December 2004.
Temporary exhibitions are held on its ground floor and it has an auditorium where images of Uruguay's soccer performance at the Olympic Games are projected. 1928, the construction of the Centennial Stadium and the First World Championship of 1930.
On its upper floor is the museum's permanent heritage: the history of Uruguayan Football from its beginnings to the present day, the furniture used in its beginnings in the Sessions of the Uruguayan Football Association and International Football material.
It also has a traveling exhibition that has toured both the interior and the exterior of the country.
