Museo del Humor

This private museum was created in 1992 as a result of an agreement between the Municipality of Lavalleja and the "Fundación Lolita Rubial", on which it depends. It works in the galleries of the Tetro Lavalleja in the city of Minas (National Historic Monument). It brings together more than five thousand original objects linked to drawing (cartoons, comics, illustrations and other graphic humor), to written and audiovisual humor (animations, audio and television records). Most (3,500) of Uruguayan authors.
