Museo Figari

Pedro Figari (Montevideo, 1861-1938) was a lawyer, politician, journalist, philosopher, poet, pedagogue, painter. In all the branches of knowledge in which he deployed his knowledge, he achieved successes and failures, always remaining faithful to his humanist ideals.

The Figari Museum proposes a contemporary vision, presenting new perspectives, bringing its pictorial production and thought closer to the new generations, creating spaces for confronting ideas and projects, for a dynamic reflection on Figari's contribution to American culture.
