Museum and Historical Archive

Double space (archive and museum) dependent on the Intendancy of Cologne, located in a Portuguese construction of 1750 that conserves original the walls, the ceiling, the lintels of the doors and windows.

In the exhibition room you can see an archaeological sample referring to the excavations carried out in the former Governor Vasconcellos House (in the current Historic District of Colonia del Sacramento), where 19th century Portuguese ceramics stand out, among other everyday objects of that time.
