Museum Augsburg Puppet Theater
In 1943, Walter Ohmichen, his wife Rose and their daughters Hannelore and Ulla built their own theater of puppets "Puppenschrein", which translated into Russian means "puppet temple." During World War II, the theater was completely destroyed by bombs, but the owners did not despair and in 1948 opened a new puppet theater in a former old people's home, where he is to this day.
