Museum of Contemporary Art
Founded in 1965 and installed since 1976, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Campinas “José Pancetti” - MACC aims to gather, document, study, conserve, exhibit and disseminate art, as well as perform other cultural artistic activities. It is also the purpose of MACC to develop educational arts activities with schools in the city and special groups. Its program of temporary exhibitions offers an overview of contemporary production combined with samples from the collection featuring names such as José Roberto Aguilar, Mira Schendel, Candido Portinari, Lasar Segall, Roberto Burle Marx, Cildo Meireles, Waltércio Caldas and Grupo Vanguarda.
