Bystrzyca Museum deals with everything that concerns fire in the history of material culture, technology and art. Therefore, do not confuse it with other museums and museum collections that contain matches. The name of the museum is related to the field of science, which is philospheres. The word is a combination of two words, the Greek word phileo - to love and the Latin word lumen - light. It means collecting pick-up labels, matchboxes, items related to fire-less methods.
