Created in memory of the Father of Indian Cinema - Dadasaheba Phalke, the Dadasaheba Phalke Memorial is a landmark of Nashik. The 29-hectare memorial features a museum, amphitheater, water park, music fountain and exhibition center. You can see many things here, but it is the gallery that interests people most in the complex because of the paintings and exhibits. In addition, the fountain show taking place on the lawn attracts a large number of tourists. On November 30, 2000, the museum was opened by the then Deputy Chief Minister Chagan Bhujbal and opened to visitors in 2001.
